Position Overview: Thrive Ahead Co. is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist specializing in adult ADHD. The ideal candidate will develop and implement a comprehensive program to support individuals with adult-diagnosed ADHD in conjunction with our holistic wellness team, providing services in both one-on-one and group settings. This individual should be comfortable working in a holistic and hybrid (in-person and telehealth) environment and be committed to a collaborative, community-centered approach and able to grow a caseload starting part-time.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive occupational therapy program tailored for adults with ADHD.
- Provide individual and group occupational therapy sessions, both in-person and online.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support clients in improving executive functioning, time management, organization, routine development and other life skills.
- Embrace and promote a holistic approach to therapy, integrating physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate closely with our team of wellness providers.
- Respond to client service requests within 12 hours.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, and termination notes.
- Communicate with clients about payment processes and maintain updated patient files.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings, supervision, and training sessions.
- Facilitate support groups focused on ADHD and neurodiversity concerns at 3-4 times per year.
- Engage in networking and connecting with community wellness professionals/resources.
- Develop your niche through participation and facilitation of workshops and events.
- Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.
- Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are applicable to the services performed for Thrive Ahead Co..
- Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.
- Communicate with clients the payment processes for therapy services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by Thrive Ahead Co. Client and insurance payment collection are handled by support staff.

Requirements, Qualifications and Skills:

- Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in occupational therapy
- Active, unrestricted professional license in the State of Illinois. A copy must be provided to Thrive Ahead Co.
- Certified Occupational Therapist (OTR/L).
- Progress to full-time status which is being available to hold at least 25 patient sessions per week through in-person and telehealth visits, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Thrive Ahead Co.. and block out 30 hours weekly for clients to schedule during - 15 hours being completed in office
- Able to see client 3 evenings per week OR 1 weeknight evening and 1 weekend day
- Be organized, detail oriented, and able to work independently.
- Be a team player
- Have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with adult ADHD and other neurodiversity
- Current approval as an in-network provider with BCBS (preferred)
