The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for the daily functions of the Human Resource Department including not limited to recruitment, employee maintenance and enforcing company policies and practices.
Responsibilities
Participate in the sourcing and recruitment activities.
Performs routine tasks including but not limited to leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
Provide service and orientation to the employee, as requested, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Generate reports and metrics, as required.
Data entry to the human resources and assistance information system; file documents in personnel files.
Serve as a liaison with government agencies, suppliers, and non-profit institutions.
Support human resources special activities.
