Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The HR Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with various HR functions. The ideal candidate will have experience with HRIS systems, data collection, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
****This is a Temporary long contract position until November
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Coordinate new hire onboarding process, including preparing new hire paperwork and conducting orientation sessions
- Maintain employee records in HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Support employee relations efforts by assisting with conflict management and resolution
- Assist with organization design initiatives by updating organizational charts and job descriptions
- Conduct data collection and analysis for various HR reports and metrics
- Assist with payroll processing using systems such as Paylocity, Paychex, or ADP
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in an HR administrative role
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft, Taleo, or similar platforms
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
