Nick Mayer Auto Group is looking for a Corporate Trainer to assist in training and developing staff at dealerships in Ohio and Tennessee. This role will be responsible for training multiple positions including Managers, Salespeople, BDC, Service Advisors, Parts Advisors, and support staff.

Job Responsibilities:
- Train all staff in each department to understand and execute best practices for their role.
- Sales Department: Teach and coach on best practices for sales tactics, overcoming objections, desking deals, trade appraisals, inventory management, and customer experience.
- Service Department: Teach and coach on best practices for vehicle walkaround and write up, communication with customers, sales techniques, overcoming objections, and customer experience.
- Parts Department: Teach and coach on best practices for inventory management, wholesale, and communication with customers.
- Management: Teach and coach on properly administering performance reviews and employee conversations, building a positive culture, creating accountability, promoting customer experience, and managing reports.
- Document all training processes into Department/Company playbooks to continually grow and utilize.
- Build and develop “Nick Mayer Auto Group University” (NMAG University) as a training center/portal. Create regular training materials and lessons for all staff.
- Assist in developing employees’ career paths to grow within the company.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Automotive Industry experience preferred. Must have a proven track record of success.
- Experience in multiple departments/positions – Management, Sales, Service, Accounting, etc.
- Experience using DMS software preferred.
- Excellent management and training skills to build relationships at all levels across company.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high quality results under timelines.
- Highly collaborative, self-motivated, and team oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel between Ohio and Tennessee as needed.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
Compensation will be based on performance, experience and knowledge of applicable departments within the dealership.
