Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time X-Ray Technician to join our growing team. Candidates must have experience in an orthopedic office setting, as well as significant experience operating a c-arm for pain procedures and orthopedic surgery.

X-RAY TECH IS RESPONSIBLE TO: Medical Office Manager and X-Ray Supervisor
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES of X-RAY TECH INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Produce high quality patient x-ray films by applying knowledge of x-ray techniques (in office and procedure room/surgical setting)
- Assist patients in and out of medical office exam rooms or procedure room area in an efficient manner
- Position patients for x-ray procedures on x-ray table by physically lifting and placing patients on table with co-worker assistance as required
- Assist Physicians with applying and removing casts and stitches as directed
- Perform filing, mailing and purging duties of films, test results and operative notes
- Maintain, monitor and order x-ray/medical supplies as needed
- Maintain daily record of completed X-rays, and record in appropriate patient charts
- Serve as Medical Assistant and help the doctors with whatever is needed including rooming patients, confirming patient medical history and initial health assessment; will assist in obtaining diagnostic results (ie MRI, CT, labs, X-rays, etc.)
- Enter patient information in the EHR
- Experience using C-Arm in an operating/procedure room setting is a plus
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills of X-Ray Tech:
- Current X-Ray Certification
- Current NJDEP license
- Graduation from an accredited X-Ray Technologist program
- Prefer one (1) year of current work experience as a radiologic technologist
- Basic computer knowledge mandatory
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- From time to time, lifting moderate amounts of weight may be required (e.g., boxes of medical/facility supplies, and placement of patients)
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus!
