Cordin is a small high tech design and manufacturing company. We are the world leader in high-speed imaging instruments for scientific research.
Cordin is a small business environment, and so the responsibilities of this position are broad. We are looking for an office manager who can handle bookkeeping, human resource and inventory management responsibilities.
Candidates must be highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintain cash flow management spreadsheet
- Payroll, including job costing accounting
- External account reconciliation (banking, credit cards, etc.)
- Coordinate employee benefits, including health insurance plan
- Maintain employee records (I-9, W2, etc.) and miscellaneous HR needs
- Manage quarterly payroll tax filings and other tax and government conformance requirements
- Interface with sales & marketing manager on invoicing, customer support, export license requirements, etc.
- Shipping, including international and tariff conformance
- Export license applications for overseas shipments
- Interface with production manager on purchasing, production budgets, bills of material, and various other production/accounting issues
- Report to and interfaces with general manager on financial aspects of the business
- Manage stock room, including inventory and job kitting
Particular skills:
- Full knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop, including Inventory
- Full knowledge of Excel and other basic office software
Minimum qualifications:
- Associate degree in accounting
- At least five years of experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
