Set Solutions, a Trace3 Company is looking for a Sr. Security Operations Engineer for a client.
**This person will be dedicated to one of our Trace3 end clients.
The Security Operations Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our security infrastructure, monitoring security events, and assisting with incident response. This role requires a solid understanding of Palo Alto Networks, Splunk, and Zscaler technologies, as well as a strong focus on operational support and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Operations Support:
- Provide day-to-day operational support for Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security appliances.
- Assist in the configuration and management of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) solutions.
- Support the integration and maintenance of security tools within the existing infrastructure.
- Monitoring and Incident Response:
- Use Splunk to monitor security events, analyze logs, and detect potential threats.
- Respond to security incidents, including initial triage, investigation, and escalation as necessary.
- Maintain and update incident response documentation and procedures.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide technical support to internal users regarding security-related issues and inquiries.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation to enhance security awareness among employees.
- Assist users in understanding and complying with security policies and best practices.
- Policy and Compliance Support:
- Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Support compliance efforts with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Conduct routine security assessments and audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
