Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee our company's technology operations and ensure the effective deployment, maintenance and security of all IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our IT team, developing IT policies and procedures that align with the company's needs and goals, implementing IT strategies, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and providing technical support to staff across the organization. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background and excellent problem solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the organization's IT requirements and provide strategic guidance on IT governance.
- Manage network infrastructure, including servers, storage, and connectivity solutions.
- Oversee software and hardware installations, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
- Assist in planning and implementation of IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
- Develop and implement business continuity planning to minimize disruptions in case of system failures.
- Maintain Windows-based systems, databases, and other IT assets.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and data protection regulations.
- Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot IT-related issues; ensure security of the IT environment by conducting regular risk assessments to protect against unauthorized access, viruses and data breaches.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT management or a similar role..
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other office software applications.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with business continuity planning and disaster recovery procedures.
