Leading Latin American Export Pharmaceutical Company in Doral, FL is seeking an experienced Controller / Accountant. Looking for someone that wants stability. Must be Bilingual (Eng/Spa)
The Controller/Accountant will report directly to the President of the company and will be responsible for organization-wide accounting activities, including books & records, posting GL entries, trial balance, assisting with the preparation of financial statements and budgets, reconciliations including bank accounts and loan accounts (both receivable and payable). This is a perfect opportunity for a seasoned professional to join a very well established company headquartered in Doral.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine accounting records
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Post journal entries, trial balance
- Assist with the accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close processes
- Oversee charging expenses off to correct entities
- Create, review, and correct journal entries
- Support invoice creation & collections, post deposits
- Assist in the Preparation monthly statements, budgets, and other managerial accounting items
- Retail-type duties such as inventory, cash and credit card reconciliation
- Perform ad hoc functions and reports as necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 10 year plus of accounting experience.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Business Central) would be ideal or experience with SAP would work.
- Must be very computer savvy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and GL accounting software
- Export Industry experience a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish); some fluency required
- Proficiency in creating and understanding complex income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work as independently or as part of a team
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management.
- Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing to internal and external contacts.
- Ability to apply analytical skills to understand variances and follow written or verbal instruction.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor at all times.
- Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of the application of internal controls.

Additional Information:
- Full Time permanent role
- Location: Doral, FL (not remote)
- Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm
- Salary: 750K to85K
- Benefits: Health Insurance (100% paid by employer), Dental, Vision, 401(k) matching up to 4%, 1 week vacation after the first year, 2 weeks after the 2nd year of employment
