DigiStream Central Valley is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Evidence Assistant. This entry-level position involves handling and securing case evidence, and editing of detailed written investigative reports. The evidence department is pivotal to the success of each case and overall function of the office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review reports for spelling and grammar mistakes
- High volume report editing and data-entry
- Enter new cases and update current cases
- Respond to new case referrals
- Track and maintain case inventory
- Coordinate and manage shipping of products
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Psychology, History, or other writing intensive major, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Multi-media, or other media intensive major required
- Must be able to type 50+ words per minute
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
- Exceptional written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Work in a team environment with inside and outside staff
