The Altman Program for International Studies & Business is a special, dual-degree, undergraduate program that integrates advanced language learning with business and liberal arts education. Reporting to the faculty Co-Directors of the Altman program, the Senior Program Manager is a crucial member of the program leadership team. They are the key contact person for the program and interfaces directly with students and parents, faculty and staff at Tulane, non-Tulane partners and local vendors, and foreign travel and educational service providers. They are responsible for proper functioning of the program within the rules of Tulane and according to the mission of the program, for advising students on matters of academics and professional development, supervising the program coordinator, and ensuring successful execution of all program elements.
The Altman Program is committed to being an equitable, diverse, and inclusive community where everyone is able to thrive. The Altman Program seeks to empower students to communicate across lines of difference, to become culturally sensitive, and to recognize and address structural inequities that exist locally and globally. We commit ourselves to forms of academic and community engagement that are equitable and anti-oppressive, and we will work actively with campus partners to provide opportunities for our scholars to engage in anti-racist learning.
