Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Head Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and possess strong leadership skills to oversee the dining operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of dining staff to ensure efficient and courteous service
- Train, mentor, and motivate servers to maintain high standards of service
- Assist in food preparation and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed
- Monitor food safety standards and compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service timing
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of dining areas before and after service
- Maintain inventory of dining supplies and place orders as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and dietary requirements
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership qualities with the ability to guide and support a team
- Certification in food safety or willingness to obtain one
- Experience working in a hospital or dietary department is a plus
