Greenscape Innovations is a family owned and operated sod and landscape installation company specializing in commercial and residential landscapes.

We are hiring a full-time Project Manager to join our growing team! The ideal candidate would be highly motivated, punctual, and dependable.

The Project Manager is responsible for many different aspects of the organization. This role has responsibilities in the following areas: Project management, supervisory, and business development. This role works closely with the Owners of the company and assists with any projects deemed important for the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Project Management

Completes an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
Plans the route of contract trucks and Greenscape trucks to be taken by each driver to customers. Determines needed stops and most precise use of available trucks to most efficiently meet delivery demands.
Enhances the efficiency of routing and delivery activity by reviewing the previous day’s routes and noting any discrepancies or problems and adjusting the sheet for this information.
Handles customer and Internal employee interactions professionally.
Facilitates large landscape jobs, assuring correct plants are utilized and crew is performing their duties as assigned by the Owner.
Completes an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project
Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
Manage building H2A housing on Greenscape Property
Be a representative for Greenscape Innovations at public events and in the local businesses

Supervisory

Oversees landscape crews to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
Works with team member each morning to ensure company trucks are stocked with appropriate equipment and materials for the day before the landscape crew arrives
Oversees and coordinates with Project Coordinator and/or landscape crew to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
Manage grading, sod and landscape foreman and teams and communicates with office personnel.
Monitors all tools, equipment and machinery for needed maintenance
Ensures all crew are maintaining a clean and safe job site.
Supports and trains crew the development in the best practices of installation in company standards.

Business Development

Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing clients.
Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.
Develops and implements strategies for sales for the organization, in conjunction with the Owners.
Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests products or services that will meet those needs.
Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, preferred.
At least three years of related experience.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Noise levels may vary, from office equipment to production line and warehouse levels.
