JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
The basic function of the Sales Manager is to ensure customer and employee satisfaction. Other job functions also include, keeping abreast of established goals and growth objectives of the company and working with the management team and General Manager on all sales related aspects of the business.
Other basic functions include:
Build a happy team
Lead by example by conducting themselves in a professional, moral and ethical way
Always act in the best interest of the company
Train and coach sales department employees
Address major issues in sales department along with the employees, acting in the best interest of the company and the customer
Customer relations including but not limited to
BBB complaints,
Negative Google reviews,
problem resolution etc.
Develop and make procedure recommendations to the General Manager
Keep expenses in line with the budget.
Make sure cash drawers balance daily
Make sure cash drops match end of day report daily
Submit change requests when needed
Send in change orders weekly or as needed
Handle all issues, including but not limited to:
Employee conduct toward other employees
Employee conduct toward customers
All issues should be handled quickly and professionally, while keeping the department running smoothly.
Report injuries, conduct or other issues requiring help and guidance to the GM and if they are not available to HR.

REQUIREMENTS:
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
Preferred: High school or GED.
The use of analytical and observational skills which demonstrate an ability to organize, budget, forecast.
Works in concert with the General Manager, setting objectives and expectations monthly, weekly and daily.
Manager must act 100% of the time in the best interest of Wrench A Part. Manager must take pride in doing things 100% correct and with 100% attention to detail. Manager must lead the employees by example:

The Manager must be experienced in Microsoft Office Suite
Physical
The physical requirements are those of both working in an office and that of a dismantling & recycling environment exposed to the elements with the noise of running equipment. The individual will sit for twenty five percent (25%) of the time and will utilize body movements of twisting, bending, reaching and using the hands and arms in completing paperwork. The additional physical requirements, seventy five percent (75%), include walking and standing around operating and non-operating machinery and equipment.
Mental
Requires basic use of analytical and observational skills which demonstrate an ability to organize, budget, forecast.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work environment will consist of working inside the office and on the Sales floor.
The Sales Manager may be:
Working in an enclosed office,
Work outside on the Sales floor monitoring and coaching, and
Spend time daily outside in other departments.
The conditions of service will vary with the weather.
Some functions will happen outdoors,
while others are performed indoors or in covered areas.
The Sales Manager may have to drive and/or fly to a trade or industry events and may have to perform occasional local driving. Normal travel hazards associated with driving and flying will apply.

AUTHORITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities of the Sales Manager consist of, but are not limited to the following:
Conduct, manage, and administer sales
Formulate and develop sales ideas, marketing ideas and submit to the General Manager
Recruit, Hire, Train, Evaluate, Discipline and Terminate employees as needed.

Compensation:
$40,000 - $65,000 based on experience and performance
