UGP's Fitness Coaches and Athletic Trainers optimize bodies for golf and life. UGP's Build Shop masters the artisanship and precision necessary to deliver game-redefining equipment. Our building process matches the rigor of our fitting process, guaranteeing each player perfectly, custom-built clubs that truly help clients develop their game.

Position Summary

At UGP, we are always looking for talented and driven individuals interested in working in the golf performance industry. Because of our fast growth, we have an ongoing need for new team members.

The Golf Performance Coach coordinates general business activities and the needs of UGP’s clients through courteous, professional conduct including the use of well-planned golf programming, effective sessions and golf assessments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

Conducting exploratory and in-depth interviews on a client's history, motivation, and goals
Developing and executing a relevant, unique development program, based on the assessment results
The Golf Coach is responsible for collaborating with the other golf and fitness coaches to best serve the client's golf and personal development before, during, and after coaching sessions
Creating a 5-star customer experience by going above and beyond for each client and anticipating their needs
Facilitating a Development Plan to improve overall health, golf ability, physical fitness, and mobility
Report to Head Coach weekly for performance updates
Confidently give a high-quality tour at any time and demonstrate the ability to close the sale
Completing necessary administrative duties to follow-up with clients, communicate with team members, and develop fitness plans
Maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance at all times while showing commitment to the UGP mission, vision, and core values
Answering phones, timely booking of appointments, and managing personal schedule on MINDBODY

Experience and Qualifications Required

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University
Golf Instructor Certification and/or PGA experience NOT REQUIRED
1-2 years of related experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Positive, enthusiastic personality
