Job Title: Forklift Operator - Solar Panel Field (Steel Metal Pipes)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in the solar panel industry. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently and safely operate a forklift to handle steel metal pipes used in the assembly and installation of solar panel systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating forklifts in industrial settings, with a focus on handling heavy materials such as steel pipes. Attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Operate a forklift to safely transport steel metal pipes within the warehouse and on job sites.
Load and unload steel pipes from delivery trucks and storage areas using the forklift.
Move steel pipes to designated areas for assembly and installation of solar panel systems.
Assist in the loading and unloading of materials onto and from trucks as needed.
Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift and report any issues to the supervisor.
Adhere to safety regulations and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper storage of materials.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members.
Participate in training programs to improve forklift operation skills and knowledge of safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a forklift operator in an industrial or warehouse setting.
Valid forklift certification/license required.
Experience handling heavy materials, preferably steel pipes or similar industrial products.
Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently in various weather conditions and environments.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as required.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
