Calling all hungry and passionate sales experts who are looking to play a key role in a rapidly growing startup!

Balloon Artisan is transforming the event industry across the country. Since September of 2022 we have grown from a humble, single location balloon decorating company into the world’s largest balloon decorating company that is now operating in 24 states. Our company is on fire (in the best of ways of course) and we need an unbelievably ambitious Sales Development Representative to team up with us for the ride of a lifetime.

The Sales Development Representative will be calling / texting / Looming (you must be comfortable being on camera) inbound leads to kick start their Balloon Artisan experience. We currently get 25-40 inbound leads per day so that’s a lot of phone calls.

The goal is to be the ultimate hype-person, to help the client get excited to work with us and our team, support them throughout the buying journey and to reconnect with them if the deal stalls.

And of course, like any good hype-person, you will be following up with the clients after their events to make sure we did an incredible job taking care of them.

This is a new position at Balloon Artisan so there will be a lot of learning, script testing, pivots, process refinements and room to make a massive impact on the long-term success of the Company. There also won’t be a lot of structure in the position at first (since it’s new) so you’ll need to be comfortable with being a self-starter.

You will be working very closely with our CEO and will have the opportunity to learn about the inner workings of Balloon Artisan and entrepreneurship as a whole.

Job Responsibilities:

While our Event Coordinators handle all of the planning and logistics associated with the sale, if they have trouble closing the deal for whatever reason, you will need to reach out to the client and try to handle their objections.

You will also eventually be responsible for creating an effective “Referral Program” and help get video testimonials of our clients sharing their experience of working with us.

Qualifications:

- Must be willing to make a LOT of phone calls.

- Must be comfortable with video messaging and being on camera.

- Proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive.

- A master in using a variety of CRM’s.

- The ability to design sales scripts and systems then A/B Test those systems to improve effectiveness.

- Highly organized and detail-oriented.

- Enthusiastic about life and being part of a larger vision.

- A natural communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.

- Creative and able to think outside the box.

- Willing to learn and potentially fail in the process.

- Able to communicate clearly and give detailed instructions.

- Able to work with a team to accomplish goals.

- 5+ Years of prior sales experience.

Job Schedule:
You will be working 40-45 hours per week and will be working 8 AM - 5 PM MST Monday -Friday. We do get 4-10 leads that come in per weekend and you’ll need to help us figure out the best way to handle those.

Job Details:
We anticipate the total compensation for this role being between $60,000 - $80,000 per year. You will be given a base pay of $20 / hour and then you will be eligible for additional compensation depending on the results generated. Additional compensation will come from a combination of tips, saved deal bonuses, and existing clients that you get to schedule an event in advance.

This position is 100% remote.
