JBD for PRODUCTION PLANNER/CSR at Creative Liquid Coatings.
1.0 POSITION DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare schedule that assure performance attainment of the production lines assigned.
- Sequence and prioritize the different customer orders by product complexity.
- Balance the workload through several workcenters.
- Measure the proper execution of production plan and provides key data to production managers.
- Develop and review production plan with Managers for approval.
- Investigate production problem, analyze root causes and provide solutions.
- Communicate production status to Managers and Customers in a daily basis.
- Analyze back orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize and provide important data to management.
- Plan equipment, material and manpower requirements to execute job orders.
- Coordinate with Managers in planning and implementing engineering changes and transfers in production lines.
- Plan inventory management processes to avoid shortages, excesses and scrap.
- Adhere to company standards and production policies to meet company objectives.
- Maintain reports for production planning activities and sequences.
- Evaluating raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production
- Watching costs to ensure the production process stays within budget
- Handling production disruptions and productivity problems
- Finding ways to improve productivity and reduce costs
- Using market forecasts and competitive analysis to anticipate necessary production changes
- Essential Daily/Weekly duties
- Using planning tools (QAD/IQMS/MODS) to run reports for previous day execution.
- Prepare and present charts (weekly/monthly) showing performance trends and key indicators for the business (line attainment, unplanned downtime, OTD)
- Prepare and present daily and weekly production plans for the operation meetings.
- Maintain constant communication with other departments to adjust schedules that prevent any downtime.
- Work with maintenance and tool room (as needed) to execute preventive maintenance activities with deadlines.
- Prepare and present request for OT (Weekly) on production lines assigned that includes HC, SHIFT and production targets.
- Attend production meetings (daily) and clearly communicate changes on schedules and priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business management, or 2+ Years of experience on related field is preferred
- Proven experience working as a production planner.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience in MRP/ERP as QAD/IQMS is preferred

Pay: $51,373.19 - $61,868.79 per year
